Plum BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 3/4 cups chopped plums about 6
  • 1 cup katsup
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped shallot
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and cook until plums are fully cooked and soft
  • Let cool a bit before transferring ingredients to a blender, then blend until smooth.
