1 (4 oz.) can chopped black olives, drained
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilis, drained
3 large tomatoes, chopped
6 green onions, chopped
1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
2/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp coarsely ground pepper
1 tbsp sugar (optional)
1/2 vidalia onion, chopped small
2 tbsp chopped garlic (optional but yummy)

1. Combine the olives, chiles, tomatoes, green onions (and vidalia onion) and clinatro in a bowl; mix well.
2. Combine the vinegar, oil, garlic (and/or powder), pepper and sugar in a container with a tight-fitting lid, shake to blend, pour over the tomato mixture, tossing to coat.
3. Chill, covered, for 3 hours or longer; drain (we did it over night and.. mmmm, yum)
4. Serve with chips.
